A native of Los Angeles and graduate from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Melissa discovered her unique talent to spin a tale almost by accident when she was told by a friend that she "used the power of words to literally paint a scene in the mind of the reader". Encouraged by friends and family, she began to consider pursuing the dream of becoming a writer. However it was her grandfather’s words spoken just days prior to his passing that proved to be the defining moment.
"You can run, but you can’t hide. You have to use the gifts God gives you."
This edict prompted her to begin writing the story of the Carondolette Family that had been hidden in her heart some five years. Supported by her one true love of 20 years, ‘Nick’ and the cheerleading of her daughter and four sons, writing Trinity’s Hope has led to a series of four novels, a book of short stories and poetry. Two non-fiction works - ManFast: The Single Woman's Guide to Purity, Faith and Love and ManFast For Men are currently in production.
Melissa Ewell Miller comes from a long line of storytellers who have found a voice in the tradition of so many prolific writers. With the merging of Godly insight, a love of family and a passion for the written word, Melissa has successfully combined exceptional writing skills and creative talents to produce heartfelt, touching works of Christian fiction.
